Maintenance guide for your terrarium

Find out how to take care of your terrarium and prolong its longevity. On this page we provide you with all the advice you need to apply regarding the watering and maintenance of your Tinygarden.

# 1 Watering Closed Models

Water your terrarium 4 days after receiving your creation.
Closed model: water your terrarium 1x per month with 50 ml of non-calcareous filtered water that you distribute over all the plants.
If you close your terrarium with green plants, watering once a month will be enough.
Wait 48 hours after watering to close it.
If you have steam inside your terrarium, open it for 2 hours and then close it again.
You can prune the leaves of your green plants from time to time if they grow too fast.
Open model: water your terrarium 1x per week with 100 ml of non-calcareous filtered water, which you distribute over all the plants.
Attention, always make sure to water the plants, this method will preserve the leaves.

# 2 Watering Open Models: Green Plants

Water your terrarium 4 days after receiving your creation.
Water your terrarium 1x a week.
Add the content of 150 ml of non-calcareous filtered water, which you distribute overall 3 plants.
Warning, always make sure to water the plants well.
This method will preserve your leaves.
If you notice that the plants lack water, do not hesitate to water your Tinygarden more.

You can prune the leaves of your plants from time to time if they grow too quickly.
They will make new shoots.

# 3 Cactus Terrarium Watering

Begin the watering cycle of your terrarium 2 weeks after receiving your creation.
Water your terrarium 1x a month.
Put the content of 50 ml of non-calcareous filtered water (very little!) Which you distribute overall 3 cacti around the plant.
Prefer the use of a syringe or pipette when watering.
Warning, always make sure to water the plants well.
This method will preserve your cacti Cacti are plants that grow very slowly and don’t need a lot of water.
If the roots are too wet your cacti may die.

# 4 Succulent Terrarium Watering

Begin the watering cycle of your terrarium 1 week after receiving your creation.
For a succulent terrarium, watering 1x every 2 weeks will be necessary.

# 5 Exposure and Temperature

Protect your terrarium from the sun’s rays.
If your terrarium is exposed to direct sunlight, this can burn the plants.
Place it in a ventilated and lighted place.
Avoid placing your terrarium near a heat source.
Place it in a place between 15 and 25 degrees.
